Partners in Excellence modernizes financial reporting system with NetSuite and OTT, Inc.
As an organization with five locations, Partners in Excellence needed a way to easily generate financial statements for each location and department and modernize its financial reporting technology. The organization was using Microsoft Dynamics GP but knew the solution would no longer continue to serve its needs. Amber Crowley, Chief Operations Officer of Partners in Excellence said, “We were forced to make a decision about what we were going to do for our
financial reporting system. We were required to update Dynamics GP annually but without the benefit of getting new features.”
With limited employee resources in its small accounting department, Partners in Excellence did not have time to research a new solution or how to improve financial processes. They needed a partner that would take charge of implementation and complete the migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP to a powerful new solution with little oversight needed from Partners in Excellence. The organization turned to OTT – a long-standing partner of theirs – for help. OTT consulted with the Partners in Excellence team to identify their goals of speeding up the financial close process, providing automation for manual processes, and improving reporting visibility.
OTT oversaw the implementation of NetSuite – a powerful cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform – that took place over the course of four months. Keeping in constant communication about project progress with Partners in Excellence, OTT provided quick responses to inquiries to spare the slim financial team from having to devote time and resources to the migration.
